i am struggling to be optimistic and to look at my path and not the paths of others. i know that looking at others will only destroy me….but i wish i was them.

Life is beautiful not because it’s easy and smoothing trailing, but because it’s hard and exciting.

Here am I - Anis Mojgani

Where do people go to when they die? / What made the beauty of the moon? / And the beauty of the sea? / Did that beauty made you? / Did that beauty make me? / Will that make me something? / Will I be something? / Am I something?”

And the answer comes: already am, always was, and I still have time to be

it’s all about perspective. i use to think that it was life and death if i, i dunno, didn’t get that 4.0, if i didn’t have this or that, if i didn’t do this or did that. i thought my world was getting sucked up and disappear. but really, that’s just a bad attitude. getting a 3.6 in chem instead of a 4.0 isn’t going to cause a heart attack. stingy-ness doesn’t bring happiness. and winning just to win doesn’t mean success. life comes in increments, friggin small increments at best, but it’s hard to see them when you are blinded by a poor attitude.
